1. 3D Computed Tomography
The Panoramic X-ray imaging technology was developed to provide better Dental diagnoses and treatments to patients. However, the limitations of its 2D plane image would not have been overcome if dentistry had not adopted the 3D multi-plane reconstruction algorithm of computerized tomography (CT).
The advantage of Dental CBCT & 3D Software of E-WOO is that, it enables you to evaluate clinical cases; bone quality, Maxillary sinus, TMJ, incisive foramen, and mandibular canal which have brought on a qualitative revolution of dental radio-therapeutics.
E-WOO¡¯s advanced technology provides planning, evaluation, and treatment. It minimizes the side effects of implant surgery.

2. Anatomic analysis by 0.1mm minimum slice thickness
A medical CT has a slice thickness of 1~2mm, while a Picasso offers a slice thickness to a minimum of 0.1mm.
The extreme details and quality of images of Picasso ensures that every possible precaution will be made to reduce the risk of involvement of delicate anatomical structures during treatment.
|
3. Low Radiation Dosage of Picasso
The radiation dosage of Picasso is considerably less than that of a medical CT.
For implant surgery, to capture a dental arch where 40 slices are required, a Medical CT can capture 1 slice/sec. at 150kVp and 200mA; while a Picasso Dental CT captures images at only 80kVp and 5mA for 12~24 seconds.
Accordingly, the radiation dosage of Picasso is a hundredth less than that of a Medical CT.
Picasso acquires a 3D image with just a single 360¡Æ rotation, just as with a Panoramic X-Ray.

4. Dental Cone Beam CT
Medical CT widely uses a conventional linear Fan Beam, whereas E-WOO Dental CT uses Cone Beam that features a square, 2-dimensional array of detectors to capture the cone-shaped beam. As a result, a Cone Beam CT provides a volume of data, while a medical Fan Beam CT provides a set of consecutive slices of images.
The compact size and relatively low radiation dosage of the Cone Beam CT make it ideally suited for imaging dental structures.

5. Picasso Trio : All functions combined in one single unit
Panoramic imaging, cephalometric imaging, and 3D CT imaging have different characteristics and require different image capturing units.
But thanks to E-WOO for bringing out its patented technology, The Picasso, the first 3 in 1 system in the world. EWOO is world renowned for technical innovations such as combining 3 individual functions (dental CT, digital panoramic & digital cephalometric) into 1 single system, thus, providing economic feasibility to the dentist in terms of space and cost.

6. Attested by more than 1,200 dental clinics
Picasso series had been installed and attested in more than 1,200 dental clinics within the past 2 years since its introduction. Picasso is now synonymous for quality and technical innovation providing cutting edge, computerized technology to dentistry.
A Picasso network has been created, which is composed of more than 1,200 dental professionals providing experience and knowledge in CT diagnostic dental skills.
The success of Picasso reflects the rapid acceptance of those who pursue high quality medical technology.

7. Picasso series; satisfying every demand of hospitals radiology imaging centers and the dental clinics.
E-WOO presents the Picasso series, composed of a dental Cone Beam CT and 3D software.
The FOV(Field of View) of Picasso series varies from 12cm x 7cm, to 20cm x 15cm, to 20cm x 19cm; providing unparalleled, detailed information to the dentist.
Picasso series is all controlled by software and all operations, such as image capture, and motorized position is communicated with a console PC in CAN. So, its stability is already approved.

8. Ideal for Dental Offices
Preparing a pre-implant surgery treatment plan with 3D analysis using CT imaging has become the standard of care to provide optimum patient care and safety, as well as to provide the dentist with unparalleled insight.
Picasso series are substantially lighter and smaller with better spatial resolution compared to a medical CT.
The Picasso dimensions are no larger than a Pan/Ceph X-Ray system making it ideal for private dental offices.
